February Media Update
Hello and greetings from the Medieval Conflicts mod team. Today we are releasing our February media update, showing off some of the work we did in January. Today we have to show two models made by our new, and extremely talented modeller Guedin. Guedin has started a French knight character model and a medieval trebuchet. Another modeller of ours has made a tent, and a screenshot of it ingame as well as a mace ingame. All of these models are work in progress at the moment.
We would also like to inform all of you that we are still accepting applications to our mod team, to apply please fill out the form
here. With all that said here is our media media update.

Forum Skin
Hey everyone, as you can tell the current forum skin on our new forums is a default one. Hang tight with us while we develop a custom forum skin to match our site theme. It will take a few weeks but we wanted to get these new forums out asap as the other ones...well they lack some features we needed. So just in case you thought we were going to make a light blue forum skin for a medieval mod... think again It will be coming soon. Thanks!

January Media Update!
Hello everyone, greetings from the Medieval Conflicts mod team. We hope everyone had a good holiday and new years eve. We have a lot to look forward to in 2008, with progress to be shown from many mods, it should be an exciting year. First off we would like to welcome our newest addition to the team, a modeler named Aleks90.
Anyways, here at the Medieval Conflicts team, we have been at work on a few weapon models lately, now it is time to show you our January media update. We have four work in progress models to showcase today.
We first have a French Longsword (work in progress). The second render is of the French Mace. It is quite an interesting design. The Longsword and the Mace were both created by Trix3. The next render is of a French Shortsword, modeled by our new team member, Aleks90. This weapon may act as a secondary weapon. Finally we have the English Bill. It was a polearm used during the war which shares many similarities to the French Poleaxe. This was also modeled by Aleks90.
We are sorry we don’t have much to showcase, but at the beginning of February expect a large media update with somewhere around 6-10 models.
Please remember to
sign up at our forums and participate in our discussions!
Until next time, have a great month!

December Media Update!
I'm sure many of you have been waiting for us to release our first bit of media so you can see what we're all about. We now have a bit of content to reveal and more will come in the future.
The way these media updates will work is every month almost at the beginning of the month we'll make our update with screenshots, ideas etc. that we have come up with over the previous 4 weeks. So without any further adeu here is the December Media Update.
All these models are by one of our modelers, Trix3. These models are not skinned, and therefore labeled WIP (work in progress).
The first is an English longbow, which were very popular during the “Hundred Years War”. One of it’s most famous use’s was in the Battle of Agincourt.
Second is a horse, still being worked on but this gives you an idea as to what it will look like.
Third picture is a English shield, the shape we decided on was used by many English knights.
Fourth is the French Poleaxe, this was ideal for use against soldiers who had swords that couldn’t reach as far as the Poleaxe can.
In the fifth picture there is a French crossbow. Although reloading took much more time than the longbow, it had quite a bit of power, and was fairly accurate.
And finally, the sixth picture is a English mace, it was particularly good for piercing chainmail, plate armor, and shields.
Check back here next month when we reveal some more exciting updates for everyone. Remember please register in our forums to stay up to date with the mod and all the happenings!
